The REAL State of the Union 2012 Roundup

About 200 guests gathered at 7 Stages Friday, February 10, 2012 for The REAL State of the Union. Jay Bookman, author and Atlanta Journal Constitution columnist and blogger gave the keynote address, envisioning the future of American politics post-2012 election and poking fun at some of the most notorious names in the political game. Andisheh Nouraee, local writer,  political satirist and co-author and illustrator of "Americapedia: Taking the Dumb Out of Freedom" then responded to Jay's address, hilariously outlining the top  5 reasons recessions are good.

The Rev. Dr. Joseph E. Lowery along with Evelyn Lowery were the guests of honor. Dr. Lowery gave a brief address after being honored with a 'Chaplain of the Common Good' cap and took a seat with Jay and Andisheh for  Q and A with the audience. See photos below and stay tuned for a video of the event coming soon!

A huge thanks goes out to all who contributed: 7 Stages,  Jay and Julie Bookman, Andisheh and Christi Nouraee, The Rev.
