Next Community Talk – August 21, 2017

Georgia WAND, in collaboration with UGA's Savannah River Ecology Lab (SREL) will be hosting the 2nd monthly education series, August's "Community Talk" at the Burke County Library on August 21, 2017. This month's theme is Contaminants In Our Lives. Attendees will hear information about types of contaminants, exposure pathways in Shell Bluff and Burke County, gender and age differences in exposure effects, contaminants in industry, and an overview of how industry uses natural resources in maintenance/clean-up of effluents.
