Davis’ Clemency Denied- Take Action Now

With people watching from across the globe, the Board of Pardons and Paroles this morning denied clemency for Troy Davis, despite compelling evidence for his innocence, and much more than just a shadow of a doubt of his guilt. Justice was not served this morning.

Troy Davis is schedule to be put to death tomorrow, Wednesday, September 21, at 7pm.

As eyes continue to watch our state, we must keep up with momentum on this case and show our solidarity with Troy in his final hours of life.

TODAY the Georgia peace and justice community urge you to call in to radio/tv shows, wear your Troy Davis shirts and buttons,  use social media to blast the decision, organize a protest, make a sign - put it on your car, house, work place, campus --  do whatever you can do to show your support for Troy.

TONIGHT there are two pre-planned rallies taking place to show solidarity with Troy and demonstrate that

6pm- 8:30p Grassroots International Rally to Stop the Execution of Troy Davis, Woodruff Park.

7pm, Protest for Troy at the Capitol, led by  Georgians for an Alternative to the Death Penalty, NAACP
