Open Letter to the NPU-V Community

Georgia WAND, the Center for Working Families, 9to5 Georgia, Center for Black Women’s Wellness, Georgia Votes, and the Emmaus House participated in a cohort supported by the Annie E. Casey Foundation are focused on improving community relationships and creating the building blocks of a community-wide collaboration in NPU-V. Our collective goal is to support community activism, organizing, and advocacy and provide impactful services. The cohort participated in sessions and coaching, and completed a community engagement assessment facilitated by CommunityBuild Ventures. These learning opportunities have positioned the organizations to grow in partnership with one another and define a vision beyond the participating organizations.  We make these commitments in appreciation of the community efforts already underway to create a vibrant, thriving NPU-V.
