In May, the Atlanta’s City Council passed a resolution to develop a plan to ensure that 100% of the electricity consumed in Atlanta will be generated from clean energy sources by 2035.
One reason this is especially big news for Georgia WAND is that the resolution names “clean energy” and “renewable energy” sources–and it does not name nuclear energy in the future of Atlanta!
The City of Atlanta has a survey asking stakeholders for input on the creation of a 100% Clean Energy Plan between now and January 2018. The your input to make sure this plan represents all Atlantans.
TAKE THE COMMUNITY SURVEY: This short survey has been designed to give the City of Atlanta a sense of how stakeholders would like the City to approach the Plan’s creation. It is also meant to capture what community members themselves would be interested in doing to be part of the clean energy future.
