PSC Hearing July 22- Listen Live!

The Georgia Public Service Commission will meet Friday, July 22 at 10am. According to their website, the commission is set to discuss fourth semi-annual construction monitoring report concerning Plant Vogtle. A risk sharing mechanism that would hold Georgia Power accountable for partial payment of any cost overruns on the construction of reactors 3 and 4 at Plant Vogtle was also on the docket. The PSC, however, took the RSM off the table this week, meaning Georgia Power ratepayers will be left to finance any budgetary overruns deemed 'prudent' by the PSC.
