Help keep consumer costs of Vogtle down!

nuclear-costs-imageIn their latest progress report about the construction of two new nuclear reactors at Plant Vogtle, Southern Company says they're going to need an additional $381 million to finish the project, which is behind schedule and has been riddled with poor oversight and safety management.

On July 18 and 19, the Public Service Commission will hear testimony from Georgia Power officials about the project. They need to hear from Georgia ratepayers and concerned citizens, too!

Join Georgia WAND in advocating for tough fiscal oversight that doesn't leave Georgia ratepayers on the hook for Georgia Power's poor project management and unwise energy choices.
