D.C. Days 2013: Send a Woman to Washington!
Georgia WAND will participate D.C. Days on April 14-17! DC Days is the Alliance for Nuclear Accountability’s annual grassroots event where people from across the country are trained in talking about nuclear issues and key environmental justice concerns. Then, they have the opportunity to meet directly with policy makers to discuss these issues.
With Plant Vogtle being built in our state and the Mixed Oxide Plutonium fuel facility slated for construction in neighboring South Carolina, it's important that legislators hear from the most impacted communities in the South.

If you'd like to attend DC Days with the Georgia WAND crew, let us know! Early Bird registration deadline is March 15.
The agenda for D.C. Days 2013 will be packed with educational opportunities, advocacy, and social time with other disarmament and environmental activists!
